How do votes stack up: the rules and safeguards
Sign in to vote on live launches—one vote per listing per person. Votes are never for sale, and suspicious patterns are caught and held for review.

Cast your vote fairly
To vote on a launch, you need to sign in and confirm your email address. Each person gets one vote per listing, and only live launches accept votes. There's one important exception: if you've submitted your own launch, you can vote for it only after you've voted for at least one other launch first.
We run a quick human check from time to time to keep the system honest. Voting limits per hour and per day are in place to prevent abuse. When a burst of votes looks suspicious, those votes are flagged and held for review before they count toward the listing.
Votes are never for sale
Voting sits completely separate from paid ranking (the billboard), verification badges and factual data such as Domain Rating. Payment cannot change a vote count—these systems are labelled and kept apart. Active community members do earn influence, which can give their vote more weight, but that influence comes from genuine participation, not money.
Your vote reflects what you think, not what someone paid for.
Questions people ask
- Can I buy votes for my launch?
- No. Votes and paid ranking are separate systems. Payment cannot change a vote count. Only active community participation builds influence.
- What happens if votes come in too fast?
- Suspicious bursts are flagged and not counted until a human review takes place. Voting limits per hour and per day stop abuse.
- Do I need to vote before I can submit my own launch?
- You can submit whenever you like. However, you cannot vote for your own launch until you have voted for someone else's first.
