Your main category at no extra cost
Every listing appears in one main category free of charge. This is your primary placement, and it requires no payment to use.
Adding categories for wider reach
To appear in additional categories, you can purchase extra category slots. You can add up to 3 more categories for $5.
You have two ways to buy them:
- Add them during submission, on the plan step when you first list your product
- Add them later from /account/listings, in the Categories section
Once you've paid, select which categories you want. Your listing then appears in each of those categories straight away, with no waiting time.
Side-by-side: one category versus many
Listing in your main category alone keeps your visibility focused and costs nothing. Adding extra categories spreads your listing across more browsing paths, putting your product in front of visitors searching in different ways—at a set cost per additional category slot.
