When can you get a refund on a paid listing?

Paid listings are non-refundable, except when we remove a listing—then you get a full refund. Your statutory rights always apply.

Updated

The standard position: no refunds

Once you've paid for a listing, that payment is final. Purchases cannot be refunded after payment has gone through. This policy is set out in full in the terms.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by this policy.

When a refund does happen

There is one scenario where a refund is automatic. If our team rejects or takes down a paid listing, you receive a full refund of every payment made for that listing. The refund goes back to your original payment method, and we also issue a credit note.

If you paid by cryptocurrency, we'll ask you for a payout address so we can process the refund to you.

Disputes and chargebacks

If you dispute a payment or reverse it through your bank or payment provider, any products or listings purchased with that order are taken down immediately. They stay down while the dispute is being investigated. Should the dispute be resolved in our favour, the listing can be restored.

Questions people ask

Can I get my money back after I've paid?
No. Payments are final once processed. The only exception is if we remove your listing ourselves—then you're refunded in full to your original payment method, plus issued a credit note.
What happens if I dispute the charge with my bank?
Your listing goes down while the dispute is open. If we win the dispute, we can put it back up. If you lose, the listing stays down.
Are my consumer rights protected?
Yes. Your statutory rights are never affected by this refund policy.
